Range Rover Sport Number Plates

Sports model Range Rovers are a pretty popular car on UK Roads. With sleek lines and a build to stand out on the roads and an engine made to be heard, it's not hard to see why. But when there are lots of similar cars on the road, how do you make sure you stand out?

With a personalised plate, you can make your mark on your car without any outlandish changes to your vehicle. Whether it be a nickname or a catchphrase, your reg plate is a great place to show off what makes you and your Range Rover Sport unique.

What Types Are Available?

New/Current Style

New/current style plates were introduced in 2001. With these plates, the first two letters represent the area, and the last two digits represent the date. Thanks to this, you can easily identify the area and date of issue on each plate.

Prefix Style

Prefix style number plates came before the new/current style. Here, the first letters are used to reference the year of issue. For example, ‘A’ refers to 1983 when they were introduced.

Suffix Style

Before the prefix style came the suffix style. With these plates, it’s the last letter that represents the year of issue. They were introduced in 1963, so this is what ‘A’ refers to.

Dateless

If you want a more flexible option, a dateless number plate is a great choice. That’s because there are fewer restrictions with the order of digits and numbers.
